ESCAPE. IT’S GOOD FOR THE SOUL

This weekend I was lucky enough to escape the city madness and hit the coast with a couple of nearest and dearest. June has been a horrible month to say the least. With winter hitting us hard and feeling like bad luck has constantly been thrown our way; a little ‘r&r’ was definitely in order.

For a quick re-group, there is no need to venture far. We headed one hour east of Melbourne city center, down the peninsular coast, towards the quaint seaside towns of Portsea, Sorrento & Rye.

A weekend of fun, food, fresh air and friendship; what a great way to stick June the middle finger.

  1. Ah Lou, I’m so sorry to hear things have been tough. The photos are beautiful and it’s really good to hear you got some girl-time out of the city. On a greed-based note, is that an amazing vanilla slice in one of your photos? I may have fought you for that if I’d been there… Lots of love xx

    • Thanks Susanne! Vanilla slice oh yes indeed – supposedly the best in Victoria but I beg to differ. The French Lettuce gets my vote every time.
P.S. It’s on your way tomorrow just so you know…
